An original motivation for Smoke Works was to raise money for things budgets don't fund. Pipes are one thing, but there is no end to the needs.
We took advantage of Prime Day and bought a ton of sleeping bags, tents, socks, ponchos, and snacks for the AHOPE needle exchange to distribute to people in Boston.
As I like to point out, thats drug use funding survival gear. As part of our mission to keep money spent on harm reduction supplies at ground level, I can't think of a better example!
